A survey of the Old Testament including the historical and cultural background of the books of the Pentateuch (Genesis through Deuteronomy); and the former prophets (Joshua, Judges, 1 & 2 Samuel, and 1 & 2 Kings).

This survey covers the Old Testament prophetic books from Isaiah to Malachi along with the Writings (Psalms, Job, Proverbs, Ruth, Song of Songs, Ecclesiastes, Lamentations, Esther, Daniel, Ezra, Nehemiah, and 1 & 2 Chronicles).

Registration: For all classes, please fill out the Registration page at least two weeks before any class on the website to make us aware of your intent to take the class. The official Seminary Extension course application will be filled out on the first day of class, but we need an accurate headcount before that, so we can have the needed materials and notes ready for you. Found under the academics tab on the website menu
Scholarships are available. This can be found on this website under Academics and Financial Services. Contact us if you have any questions.
Personal Enrichment is an option those who do not want academic credit but still want to learn. All our courses can be taken for personal enrichment at no cost. But if you do want academic credit there is a required fee that goes to the Seminary Extension to make sure your records are available for transfer if you chose to apply them to another program.
Online: We encourage in-person attendance whenever possible for the best learning environment. For those who cannot attend in person, we do provide an online option.
Dual Enrollment is an option for high school students who have completed their 10th grade English or equivalent for home school students and are at least 16 years old.
